FAMILY HOUSING

Nepal is still recovering from its earthquake and will continue to recover into future years. The Nepal Build Project 2018 was born out of my interest in sustainable housing and the need for affordable, earthquake resistant construction in rural Nepal.

In partnership with Good Earth Nepal my global community of international friends and family raised more than $5,000 USD to construct the very first earth bag home in the mountains above Dhading Besi. And my international community of colleagues and friends joined me and my family in building it from the ground up.

Since then my husband, Kevin, has brought school groups from the American School of Dubai and built three more for families in need in that community.
